Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

  • Directed by Mike Newell
  • Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Brendan Gleeson, Ralph Fiennes
  • The darkest, most frightening, adventurous, entertaining, and the best so far in the Harry Potter series, this film is not for kids any more.

Oliver Twist

  • Directed by Roman Polanski
  • Starring Barney Clarke, Ben Kingsley, Harry Eden
  • Based on a classic novel by Charles Dickens, this version of Oliver Twist by Roman Polanski is quite serious, flat and dull, compared to the lively and enjoyable 1968 verison ( Oliver!) directed by Carol Reed.

The Legend of Zorro

  • Directed by Martin Campbell
  • Starring Antonio Banderas, Catherine Zeta-Jones
  • The Legend of Zorro is more of a comedy than a legend. The thing I like most in the film is the cute little boy who played the son of Zorro.
